All presenting authors received an email last week with information about what they need to prepare and the upload deadlines. See the Presenting Author Instructions.

Why register for Goldschmidt2021 Virtual?
Goldschmidt2021 may be virtual but will certainly provide lots of opportunities for scientists to present, discuss, learn and network with other delegates.
The pre-conference week is packed with science workshops and early career events.
From 5-9 July, presentations will take place live on Zoom in 15 different virtual rooms, for 2h30 twice a day. In addition, follow up discussions will continue on Spatial Chat, a platform designed for making networking easy and fun.
All registrants will also have access to pre-uploaded content from 28 June to 23 July and will be able to ask questions and connect with other attendees. Recordings of the online sessions will also be available for delegates to view until 23 July.
And last but not least, there'll be lots of fun social and networking events not to miss!
To benefit from the early rates, remember to register by 1 June. Reduced fees are available for students and retirees, with additional discount for members of the EAG, GS and partner societies. Join EAG or renew your membership now.

The EAG is assembling a diverse team of bloggers for Goldschmidt2021 Virtual and looking for volunteers willing to share their first-hand experiences at this year's virtual meeting. Whether you are a seasoned blogger or are looking to gain some experience; a Goldschmidt first-timer, or a hardened conference-goer, we'd love to hear from you! If interested, contact the EAG Office.

Socials & Networking
Take a break from the online sessions and enjoy the social and networking events at the conference. Most of them will take place on Spatial Chat, a platform designed for making networking easy and fun. Highlights will include the Conference Icebreaker, a concert from geo-rock band 'Double Scotch', a pub quiz, wine tasting, the Pride Networking Event, 'Cocktails with Kevin', and much more.
Spatial Chat will be open at all times from 28 June so delegates can use it to catch up with colleagues, discuss over coffee, visit the various spaces including the Early Career room, Exhibition, DEI room, Mentor Lounge etc.

Early Career Science Ambassador program: next deadline 1 June
The Early Career Science Ambassador Program supports Early Career Scientists based in Europe who wish to attend conferences held outside Europe (except Goldschmidt conferences). Currently, this program may be used for onsite or online attendance.The next deadline to apply is 1 June.

Journalists are human. Like everyone else, they appreciate it when you make their life easy. If you give them a good story, they will be delighted, and they are generally kind to scientists.
